Marbled Silk Scarves

Local artist Paige Selden's hand-marbled silk scarves are each one-of-a-kind!

Marbling involves floating pigment on a bath of thickened water, then manipulating it to create swirls, dots and, well, "marble". The silk is carefully laid onto the surface and - voila! - a unique piece of wearable art is created. Then the complete process is repeated.
