Hand carved in Seattle, each is a one-of-a-kind! Perfect as a soup spoon or small serving spoon. Nothing beats using wooden tools in the kitchen, or for serving, or eating, and with care, these will only become more beautiful with time!
These have an incised design employing a Scandinavian technique called Kolrosing, dating from the Viking era. Fine decorative cuts were darkened with coal dust or inner tree bark. These modern pieces utilize finely ground coffee - a perfect tool for a Seattle artist!
Hand wash with minimal soap and dry. Do not put in dishwasher or allow to sit in water. Occasionally oil using a food-safe product intended for kitchen tools.
