Hand carved in Seattle, each is a one-of-a-kind! Nothing beats using wooden tools in the kitchen, or for serving, and with care, these will only become more beautiful with time!
Those with an incised design employ a Scandinavian technique called Kolrosing, dating from the Viking era. Fine decorative cuts were darkened with coal dust or inner tree bark. These modern pieces utilize finely ground coffee - a perfect tool for a Seattle artist!
Hand wash with minimal soap and dry. Do not put in dishwasher or allow to sit in water. Occasionally oil using a food-safe product intended for kitchen tools.
